Ellyn Setnor Bogdanoff (born October 17, 1959, in Miami, Florida) is a Representative in the House of Representatives of the U.S. state of Florida. She received her Bachelors degree from the University of Florida in 1980. She lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with her family.
Sen. Bogdanoff voted in favor [1] of legislation prohibiting doctors from asking patients if they own firearms. The bill is aimed particularly at pediatricians, who routinely ask new parents if they have guns at home and if they're stored safely [2] because accidental injuries are the leading cause of death among children.[3]
